During this season of gratitude, I would like to take this opportunity to share a few of the things for which I am thankful.

First, I am thankful to all the well wishers welcoming me back after my grueling cancer treatment last school year. It was not easy, but I fought hard against the odds and came through with flying colors. As many of you may have noticed, I am no longer wearing my 'head covering'.

I am thankful for the Orca staff who care deeply about your children and in the most challenging times, they remain dedicated and tireless individuals whose love and care for students go well above and beyond what can ever be measured on a test.

Thank you for continuing to share your most valuable possession with us - your children. I am forever grateful for your support in creating a partnership with the school to help All students. I truly believe they are here to teach us how to be more compassionate, resilient and kind.

On behalf of the Orca staff, I would like to extend my gratitude and wish all of you and your families a healthy, happy, safe and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday.
