Orca Race Forum

Dr. Tanisha Brandon Felder

The Race Forum at Orca started over 15 years ago and is a time for the Orca K-8 community parents, staff and  students to gather together, build relationships, listen, reflect and act on race and equity.   It is meant to be a safe place for all families, especially families of color, to share experiences around issues of race.  Race Forum can lead to personal growth as well as systemic changes at our own school and in our community.  This year our first Race Forum will be November 10 at 6:00-8:00 pm on Zoom. (The Zoom link will be sent to families by email.) We are thankful that Dr. Tanisha Brandon Felder, a longtime Orca Educator will be the  Facilitator. The topic is Exploring Beliefs about Equity and 12 Traits of Being Anti-racist. Topic: Orca Race Forum
Time: Nov 10, 2021 6-8pm
