If your family would rather donate to a grade-level fund and have teachers purchase supplies for your student, you can donate $20 at the start of the year and we will purchase supplies for your child.

- Lined paper: college rule
- Washable markers

- Ruler with inches and centimeters

For personal use each student will need:
- College ruled spiral notebook x 3 (2 for math and 1 for science)
- Composition notebook x 2
- A cloth bag for carrying materials between the 5th grade classes (school/district safety policy is no backpacks in the halls)

7th Grade – Social Studies/History: Room 307

Social and Environmental Justice Academy “Ethnic Studies”
- We will be reading these books as a class for the year during our reading time. We will have guided questions to go along with each reading. Black Panther- The Junior Novel- Adapted by Jim McCann and Joe Robert Cole (I need two sets of 20 as this will be for my 7th and 8th graders.)
- The greatest Muhammad Ali- By, Walter Dean Meyers (I need one set of 20) this will be for 7th grade.
- Students on Strike – By, John A Stokes with Lois Wolfe (I need two sets of 20 as this will be for my 7th and 8th graders)
- Ban This Book- novel by, Alan Gratz- set of 20- we will be using this book as a supplement.
- A Raisin In The Sun – By, Lorraine Hansberry with an introduction by Robert Nemiroff (I need one set of 20) this will be for 8th grade
We need parents to purchase these books for the students.
