Hi 8th grade families!

Open enrollment is finally live and runs from February 1-28th. After you have checked what your neighborhood/feeder school is, you can decide if this is a good fit, or if you would like to apply for open enrollment to a choice school or different high school. *Attention all: If you open the form on your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc) instead of using Adobe Acrobat, the “submit” button on the bottom of the page may not work. You will need to use Adobe Acrobat to use this function. Otherwise, save it as a PDF and email it to us at schoolchoice@seattleschools.org.

*Attention Mac/iOS Users: The device you are using may not be compatible to complete the choice form. We highly encourage you to use Windows PC to fill this out; otherwise, you can print the form and email it to us at schoolchoice@seattleschools.org.

Open Enrollment Results Notification

School Choice results will be available online through the Assignment Lookup Tool around the end of April 2022. To use the Assignment Lookup Tool, please enter your student’s ID number and birth date.

Waitlists for the 2022-2023 school year will dissolve on August 31, 2022.

If additional choice seats become available, waitlisted students will be contacted by Admissions in waitlist order, to be offered a choice assignment; families will have 48 hours to accept or decline the offer before the next student must be called. Please confirm parent and guardian contact information in the Source is current.
